Work Schedule:
When both teams are on site, NHB and DSI will coordinate with each other to phase the work in a way that minimizes interference with river traffic and to work on the same bridge and span when practical. 

 General work hours will be weekdays between 8 am and 5pm.  At all times, at least one channel will remain open through both bridges.

 

In the evenings, the barge will be left at the bridges at a location at the river’s edge to minimize interference with river traffic. Lights will be placed on the barge for visibility after dark, unless the barge returns to the put-in area at the end of the work day. NHB has been notified that the upstream, Cambridge side of the River Street Bridge is the preferred location to leave the barge at the end of each day.
